okok i'll be serious.. i really want to go out with your(: get to know your better seriously!!!(: i won't preach no worries.. I am not very good at that... half the time i give wrong advice so no worries i plainly just wanna go out.. i promise to look nice(: anyway.. i dun care.. either go out with me or i'll call you!!! you know i love talking on the phone too.. i can talk about anything and everything.. Something to ponder
If you were to look at the earth from afar, what would you see? Remarkably thin ozone layer with polluted skies and darker rivers and buildings that go higher and higher?
If you could see spirits, both good and evil, what would you see? Evil spirits filling the earth, tempting every victim they can find, while the good spirits stay in churches and guide missionaries?
If you could see human hearts, what would you see? Blackened hearts all over the world, with a few pure ones shining like stars in the midst of the darkness?
If you could see God's love, mercy and grace, what would you see? Filling the whole universe?

Do we realise how small we are?
We are roughly 0.0017 km tall.
The Earth is roughly 40041.47 km wide.
The Milky Way is roughly 946 100 000 000 000 000 km wide.
The nearest galaxy from us is roughly 23 652 500 000 000 000 000 km away.
The observable matter of the universe is roughly at least 879 873 000 000 000 000 000 000 km across.
The universe is probably infinite.
We make up roughly 0.000000000000000000000000002% of the observable matter of the universe. Can't imagine how small we are? We are a like an electron in 6 times the distance from the Sun to Pluto!
So who are we, that the God who formed the universe, should love and care for us?
After all, if the world was to vanish, He'll only lose 0.0000000000000000045% of the observable matter of the universe.
So why then, does the God of the universe, say in John 3:16 that He loved the world until he gave His One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life?
He calls us His children, even though we are sinners. That's like calling an electron in an atom of a molecule of a harmful bacteria your child. Can we match His love for us?
We have been made a "spectacle in the whole universe" (1 Corinthians 4:9). So what are riches, popularity and good deeds in God's eyes?
Are we selfish and self-centered, thinking we are bigger than God's creations? Are we even serious about God? We are so worthless, but He made us worthy.
We are nothing but just a speck of dust. After all, we were made from dust.

Haha yeah we should have a myrtle outing probably on the sept holiday week. I think exams start very soon after the holidays so we should have our outing right at the start of the holidays.

I HAVE BIG BIG PLAN((:heh heh heh
PEOPLE we can start planning A MYRTLE OUTING!!!!!!((:
simply just name an activity you want to do!(:
Don't worry about time and all... (at most we sleep over if there is LOADS of funnnn activities((: )
ALL activities are funnn... NAME more than one also cannn(((: (heh heh EXAMPLE i use huimin.. hahaha SHE LOVES desserts((: so she could say something like EAT DESSERT for her activity((: )
Then after we collate ALL means everyone MUST you know CONTRIBUTE.. DENNN we can budget out how much we need (DO NOT BURN A HOLE IN YOUR PARENTS POCKETS!!!!! THEY WILL COME AFTER ME!!!!) okokok anyway then we can work out about how much you can save (((:
THENNNN FINALE stage!!!((: WE take into consideration the amount of time we need to save to get to our budget, we shall PLAN + AIM towards a DATE agreeable to ALL.. SO YOU MUST MUST MUST I DUN CARE COME.. CAUSE WE will definately set a date far far far away from today and WE CHOKE you first!!!( THIS blog entries chokes ya FROM all other weird commitment you will have on MYRTLE OUTING DAY!!!! YAY!!!!!!!)

Woah joanne your posts colour is a bit of a strain in the eye!
Anyway I felt it was definately awesome that our homework was clearly explained in E3 and JYM. Personally I have been struggling on this topic, basically "what is the WILL of God?". If you attended E2 or E3, Pastor Sai Moi spells it out very clearly.
The will of God does not need to be a sign or miracle. It does not need to be a dream or vision, or a fantastic sign like Paul's. It is instead found in our very hands - the Bible. The will of God can be found in the Bible, in these passages:
The will of God is..
To be thankful - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
..give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
To be submissive - 1 Peter 2:13-15
Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake to every authority instituted among men: whether to the king, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men.
To be sanctified - 1 Thessalonians 4:3
It is God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;
To accept suffering - 1 Peter 5:10
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
To be spirit filled
I lost the reference for this. I wrote Eph 5:17 but it doesn't seem like it...
The pastor also mentioned that when we do the above, we can choose what we want to do, and it will be God's will, cause He has provided with us the wisdom. I don't know how much you agree with this point. Nevertheless we should be more Christ-like and grow closer to God everyday. After all, don't worry if you have not been called into ministry, or you are not sure what God's purpose for your life. Jesus only started his ministry when he was 30 years old!
